Family
Trevor was born in an interracial family because his father whose name was Robert Noah was a White Swiss-German. Robert had a relationship with a black Xhosa woman named Patricia Noah. At that time there were racial differences in South Africa and their marriage was declared illegal. His mother was also arrested and prisoned for having a relationship with a white man. Later her mother married Ngisaveni Abel Shingange and gave birth to two sons Andrew Shingange and Issac Shingange. His mother got divorce from Shingange in1996 and married Sfiso Khoza in 2009.
