Rovman Powell is a West Indian cricket player, all rounder and batsman. He is known for his long hitting ability and explosive batting style. Family
Rovman was born into a very poor family, and he was looked after by his mother and sister. His father left the family before Rovman was born because his father wanted to abort the child. His mother, whose name is Joan Plummer, raised him in poverty. She worked in a bar and also worked in the cold room of a broiler company. In the absence of his mother he was looked after by his sister Shanice. Shanice is his only sister, and she works at a bank.
