Aiden Markram is a South African cricket player, batsman and cricket celebrity. He plays the role of batsman, and currently serves as the captain of South Africa T20I team. He was also the captain of South Africa U19 team when the team won the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in 2014.
He started playing cricket in 2007 when he played for Northern U13 Standard Bank team. In 2013 he joined Tuks cricket academy and captained the team.
He made his first class debut on 9 October 2014 when he played for Northerns Cricket team. After that he played cricket for various teams in different cricket leagues, and made his IPL debut in September 2021 for Punjab Kings.
